Only a few hours have passed since Mark Schubert, a young professor of literature at the Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt, specialized in North European folk arts and traditions, has succeeded with his friends to come out of a nightmare situation that would have been absolutely inconceivable until just a few days before. A situation in which the difference between reality and fantasy has been literally erased, generating incredible monstrosities: not only metaphorical. But now he has returned again to safety in his home, after finding out how high was the price paid to recover a semblance of normality, Mark Schubert discovers that in reality the task they had set for themselves is far from being finished. In fact, a new threat awaits them, in the role of an arcane entity that has decided to rage against all of them. To appease his anger, Mark and his companions will have to embark on a long journey literally on the edge of the world, desperate for what has been wrongfully removed from the arcane artifact of which, in spite of himself, has now come into possession. But the danger is lurking once again: even someone else is on their trail and the K-Team friends will have to do their best to save the young professor once he will have to face… the dazzling Light of Thousand Suns!
